After years operating as Freestone Midstream, an integrated water midstream and water management company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating top-tier water assets for the onshore US energy industry, the team of energy industry veterans behind it decided to make the transition to renewable energy. In 2020, they formed Freestone Renewables, a renewable energy development company with a focus on land stewardship. With this transition, the leadership team needed a new website to communicate their new services to a new target demographic.

After a series of internal interviews, competitive analysis, and strategy sessions, DG+ crafted a messaging foundation and brand design to create the Freestone Renewables website. As the company is in its early stages, DG+ leaned heavily on telling the story of the decades of experience the team possesses while highlighting its unique land stewardship approach.
Aimed at educating landowners on the benefits of using their land for renewables and industry entities about the value of partnering with Freestone, the website serves as an introduction to Freestone and a foundation for the young company to build upon as it grows.
Additionally, DG+ wrote and designed leave-behind sales collateral for Freestone to further communicate their services.
