DG+ is growing and ready to hire its first Strategy and Operations professional on a full-time basis. Are you a self-starter with a talent for operational excellence and eager to make an impact? The Strategy and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring that our workflows are efficient, our teams are supported, and our projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of business operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Core duties
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations and improve overall agency performance.
  • Work closely with account leads and other team members to oversee the execution of key projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. 
  • Supervise resource allocation across all projects, ensuring teams are adequately staffed and workloads are balanced. Work closely with department heads to manage capacity and forecast resource needs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring services are delivered as agreed.
  • Develop and oversee client reporting processes, ensuring that clients receive timely, accurate, and insightful reports that demonstrate the value and impact of the agency’s work. Collaborate with account teams to customize reporting to meet specific client needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insights, recommendations, and support on a wide range of business matters. Take ownership of special projects as assigned by the CEO, driving them to successful completion.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on new business initiatives, including participating in new business calls, creating proposals, and helping to define scopes of work for new projects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe home office work environment.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in an operations management role, preferably within a marketing agency, management consulting, or related field.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with senior executives. 
  • Desire to work in an agency environment, which entails balancing deadlines, staying organized, and continued learning on the job.
  • Professional attitude and ability to demonstrate the highest values and professionalism, such as through courteous and professional correspondence as well as timely communication.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and user experience (UX) best practices.
  • A passion for (or interest in) sustainability and growing the clean energy economy.
